Kollaps nazwa dotąd kojarząca się jedynie z Neubauten, już dawno przestała być anonimowa. Dwie trasy zespołu „znikąd” zaowocowały błyskawiczną popularnością. Frenetyczne sety Kollaps nie pozostawiły nikogo obojętnym. Masywna ściana zorganizowanego hałasu generowana przez trzyosobowy zespół (perkusja, bass i wokal) plus adekwatna dosis elektroniki była w stanie wytworzyć katarktyczne jakości. Kollaps nie przyczynili się do upadku, nie dobili, zamiast tego zademonstrowali total klasę i wytworzyli porywające shows, nie pozostawiające żadnych wątpliwości. Damian Coward, Wade Black i Robin W. Marsh wydali w zeszłym roku album Sibling Lovers, który zyskał atencję niezależnych mediów. Opisywano ich muzyke w najprzeróżniejszy sposób. To tym trudniejsze, bo trio zaczyna brzmieć zupełnie niezależnie od wszelkich analogii. Brzmieniowym odniesieniem Kollaps może być klasyczna twórczość Controlled Bleeeding / Skin Chamber, dalekimi punktami orientacyjnymi mogą zostać określone grupy z przeszłości, takie jak F/i czy Boy Dirt Car. Ale to przede wszystkim ekstremalnie ekspresyjne shows zdobyły grupie wszystko, co można było osiągnąć na niskobudżetowych trasach. W trakcie podróży zagrali m.in. z Brighter Death Now, Trepaneringritualen, Puce Mary, Operant, Youth Code czy Hide. W 2018 Kollaps dostał się pod skrzydła znanej wytwórni Cold Spring. Ich najnowszy album nosi tytuł Mechanical Christ. okazuje dosadnie to, czego chyba brak było na debiutanckim albumie, a co było tak uderzające na serii koncertów w ostatnich latach. Miażdżący bas, chropawe tekstury, rdza i surowy złomowy metal. Totalny wokal Wade Blacka eksponujący liryki drążące tematykę eksploatacji, zemsty, śmierci; pełne paranoi i lęków jednostki w obliczu aktualności – tego można spodziewać się po Kollaps i ich ostatnim albumie Mechanical Christ. Kto jeszcze nie pofatygował się aby zobaczyć Kollaps powinien jak najszybciej naprawić swój błąd. Ekscesy Kollaps na żywo nie pozostawią nikogo w spokoju. (ws)

JUDE
The major part of Jude public performances were all out attacks of noise combined with strong visuals – all within a form of a hardcore industrial gig. Jude’ offensive output has always involved various media such as prints, xeroxes, videos and above of all loud primal music.From the very beginning the imagery, explicit message and overall band’s attitude caused troubles and many found it controversial. Band’s uncompromising stance has been considered too radical even in the so called independent scene. During two decades Jude published a couple of limited releases on vinyl, tapes and CDs. At that time the main opportunity to present group’s potential were live performances. Besides gigs Jude was involved in many different activities such as distribution of info prints, organizing info conferences and meetings, exhibitions and direct actions.
The city of Lodz is the main point of focus and the root of Jude art. All range of band’s actions has been determined by the atmosphere, circumstances, advantages and limitations of this urban space. Jude remains a small integrated unit. Such a status keeps them isolated from scenes, trends and cliques. Jude’ line up remains flexible. We never looked at ourselves as a traditional band. Trying to avoid any links with usual show business. Jude is an non-professional group of individuals refusing to deal with any scene. Besides making music the members of Jude are active in various other fields. Crossing natural boundaries of the band we’ve been involved in different kinds of creative activities using different media. Band members are involved in martial arts (Krav Maga), many kinds of visual arts -graphism, writing, calligraphy, lettering, photography, industrial design. Jude present line up is Wiktor Skok, Jacek Walczak, Konrad Grajner, Michał Wojewoda, Michał Fryc.
