Muzyka rozciąga się na pokazy młodzieńczej punkowej rockowej melodii i ludowej melancholii, odpowiednio z tekstami duszonymi w stracie i miłości, ale niewątpliwie splecionymi z uwerturą nadziei, zwycięstwa i nieokiełznanego entuzjazmu.

Trochę o grupie …. prowadzonej przez frontmana Jamesa D. Bryana, dobrze podróżującego i dobrze przystosowanego do zmęczenia, głosu, autora piosenek, strummera, „łącznikiem”. Matt Cardinal, piękno, dusza złotej , w trzeźwości i pobłażliwości, palce zgniecione ze stali jego serca, kradnące zagrywki skrzypiec.
Stephen Boyd, co za chłopiec! Wystraszająca obecność każdej cofniętej linii włosów, rytmu, kości pleców, odpowiedzialnego buntownika, rytmu i fundacji grupy.

James & The North Shore are a folk rock project hailing from the pristine pine lands of British Columbia, Canada.

Prolific in both touring and songwriting, the band has evolved over the years, changing in line-ups and hairdos, while playing hundreds of shows across Canada and recording several singles and a very worthy of mention full length album ” Lover? I Barely Know Her” and developing something of a sometimes uncomfortable worship-like kool-aid cult status in the Kamloops region and beyond.

The music ranges in displays of youthful punk rock melody and folk melancholy, appropriately accompanied with lyrics stewed in loss and love, yet undoubtedly laced with an overture of hope, victory and unbridled enthusiasm.

A little about the group …. led by front-man James D. Bryan, well travelled and well adjusted to weariness, the voice, the songwriter, the strummer , ” the connecter”. Matt Cardinal, a beauty, a soul of golden grace, in sobriety and in indulgence, fingers calloused from the steel of his heart stealing fiddle licks.
Stephen Boyd, whatta boy! An intimidating presence to any receding hairline, the beat, the back-back bone, the responsible rebel, the rhythm and the rock of the group.

The boys will be in Krakow for their second stint for a week long stay and will commence a series of concerts in our lovely city with a free acoustic show at Cafe Szafe. You would be a fool, and a severely misinformed and misguided one, to miss out on them.
